PRODUCT REVIEW DATABASE AT KJ6FY BBS

     In conjunction with the Radio Modifications Database, I have set
up a Product Reviews Database.  The purpose of this database will be to
collect and distribute user comments regarding any amateur radio related
piece of equipment.  Comments on the following are available from the 
database:

* what you like about the radio
* what you hate about it
* reliability problems encountered and the manufacturers' response to
  your problems in and out of the warranty period
* known bugs and fixes, if any, and the manufacturers' willingness to fix
  them in and out of the warranty period
* if you would buy another 
* if there is a better radio for the money

                            RULES AND GUIDELINES

* keep message sizes less than 1.5k when uploading to the database.  we have
  to help the forwarding folks keep the mail flowing and large files jam 
  the network.  if your info is larger than 1.5k, break it up into 
  1.5k modules.
* please - lets keep it legal - no mention of prices, recommended vendors,
  etc.
* please - no flames - let's keep it factual and informative.
