                          PAC-COMM TINY-2 TNC
 
 
      I  just  took  delivery of a Pac-Comm TAPR 2 clone, model TINY-2 
and  had  a  little  problem  with  the wiring between the TNC and the 
computer.  Not  only  is  the documentation confusing it is incorrect. 
After  a  call to the factory I was given the following pin outs which 
work fine.
 
 
               TINY-2        RS232
              (DB-9F)        (DB-25F)
         
                 7              4
                 8              5
                 5              7
                 2              3
                 3              2
 
      The  DB  9 connector on the TINY-2 is set up for a IBM AT serial 
connector.  If  you  do not feel comfortable makeing cables go to your 
local  IBM  dealer  and  buy a AT adapter cable which comes out in the 
familiar DB 25 RS232 connector.
