You can get Haynes Peugeot 309 #1266 or any other manual that refer to
the 1294cc Talbot Simca engine. (his sister Talbot Horizon #473 for
    example)
    Where do you live?
This car was designed and manufactured by the Talbot people in Poissy
France, and was supposed to be the Talbot Arizona in the late 80s. It's
really easy to find any parts here in France and in Germany.
The 1294cc engine was first used in the mid 70s with the Simca Chrysler
1100 TI in France (then later on the Simca 1307).

    Hi,

Im not very mechanically minded but have just bought the above car
and need some help as i dont even have a users manual

When starting, the key does not return and you have to remember to
turn it back yourself. What is the place you put the key in called
(ignition switch?) because Id like to get a replacement if possible,

When doing an extreme right turn, I get a repeated knocking noise
which vanished once straightened. Any ideas ?

Can Manuals still be purchased for this model so i can at least find
out tyre presures, control settings etc.

Thanks in advance for any help
