I, like many of my friends have Peugeot 405 gld's. For some reason they all
seem to suffer the same affect, that is the front tyres allways seem to wear
on the outside edge faster then normal. Can you help us?
Not one of the 4 cars have been involved in any form of accident;
They all have various milage from 52000 to 120000.
They are allways fitted with good tyres and have the tracking checked
regulaly.
It seems that the tracking for the 405 model must be incorrect in some way ??
Not all of the cars are serviced or have the tracking done at the same garage.
Can you tell me what the tracking setting should be and if adjusted
differently to the guide lines would this prevent the excessive tyre scrub on
the outer edge?
OR could you tell me who could answer this problem ?
Many thanks,
Dirk Smith , Tamworth England. dirk@dirk28.fsnet.co.uk
