Nothing theoretical about it.
The Import Car center in Vermont performed one of these swaps.
They had the car forsale on their website.
There was a 405 sportwagon with a 5-speed tranny here in Houston that I was
trying to buy. It has a blown motor, but the jerk who owned it was under the
delusion that he could bring a motor in from france and swap it. (he was an
airline steward)
Needless to say the owner of the garge had it towed off and crushed.
In any event, talk with Arlo at Import Car Center in Vermont.
