Hello gang,
Just got back from a 450 mile roundtrip through Vermont and NH, and the
Mi16 performed like a champ! A/C blowing cold, car driving almost
perfectly. And my right rear door lock, which stopped wanting to lock w/
the central locking, seems to have corrected itself.
I've been trying to pinpoint a minor issue in my right-front suspension.
Ever since I picked up the car from its overhaul, I've noticed that when
the front right suspension hits any moderate road irregularity, I notice
that the car tends to pull off course, hit somewhat hard and the suspension
seems to be less than compliant compared to the left side. I don't notice
it when the left side experiences the same. I had all the bushings
replaced, and was told the shocks were fine. I know that there is some
wear in the steering rack on that side, and that it is not as tight as it
used to be.
Is this the likely culprit? It's not that bad, and it's not something that
I look to have taken care of right away.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul Hughes
