Over the last few weeks I have found that occasionally as I come to a
halt at a junction whilst braking the brakes seem to 'give' and they
feel like they have been released again momentarily even though I am
still pressing on the pedal. This is accompanied by what sounds like the
frantic clicking of a relay under the dash. Needless to say this is
quite disconcerting and I'm sure I'm going to end up nudging into a
stationary car in front. It only seems to happen at slow speeds 10-15mph
    (at the moment !).

I should point out that my Mi16 is fitted with Bendix ABS (Integrated)
which has not been working for some time now - but conventional braking
has not until now been affected. Can anyone shed any light on this
please? Would it indicate a problem with the compressor pump or that the
    brakes need bleeding?

    Sorry about this bit....
