    According to the Motronic 1.3 self test -
    these codes indicate 'self correction richness regulation function'
    or in other words ' the lambda sensor is out of whack for some reason'
    Code 32 is 'Exhaust leak' and;
    Code 52 is 'Try with new ecu'

    Before changing 02 sensor, check that you do not have an intake leak or exhaust leak. Also check that the sensor wire connector is secure - It may be loose. Can't be - its a Peugeot! and the sensor is BOSCH! <grin>

    I'd also check that the fuse for the 02 heater is ok, and that the wires for it are also connected and ok. Could be its not warming fast enough for the computer, and setting the code, then starts to work to correct mixture.

    Good luck,

      The check engine on my 405S is on most of the time after the engine warms
      up. Codes 32 & 52. Been this way for at least a month. Engine running
      excellently. Maybe a little rough the first few seconds in the morning,
      but then it's just fine. No complaints with it at all. If not for the
      light, I'd never guess there's anything wrong.

      Any suggestions what it needs? New lambda sensor?
