405 Mi 16 car stereo issues

Hello all,
I have the thought to do something about my Mi 16's ailing car stereo
rig. The factory (coded) in-dash head unit has dead channels in cassette
mode. As well the OEM driver's door speaker is out too. My
thoughts/budget suggest correcting these problems by seeking service or
replacement of the head unit and a pair of new speakers for the doors.
Also would like to udgrade the dash tweeters. Any 405 owners out there
