    I have a 1991 Peugeot 405S up for sale.
    -I am the second owner.
-The car has 41,000 miles. NO TYPO. my godmother had to "retire" it
to her garage since her doctor ordered her not to drive a FWD. It
stayed in the garage from the early/mid 90s till november of 1999.
My mechanic says the engine is very well maintained and runs strong.
I just did a tune up on it about 6 months ago, changed sparkplugs,
    oil.. the works.
-Tires were changed around 37,000 miles.
    -Only problems with car:
    1) AC didn't work, was pulled out but never reinstalled. I have the
new XXX(forgot what part) that the shop gave me.
    2) The car is an automatic. it does a weird thing where I drive it
for about 1/4 mile and the transmission will slip. the car is still
on but will not keep accelerating. I'm not sure what the problem is,
but I wanna say its the torque converter?

This car would be great if you are looking for a strong, low milage
engine to replace your high miled one with. or are looking for other
parts. And if you know how to fix that transmission slip, then you'd
have a great car to drive. I do have all documentation of work done
on the car from 1991. Car is in Los Angeles.
