Hello,

does anyone know how I can best prepare an XUD engine
for an MOT WITHOUT driving it? I just replaced the
head gasket and previously there was a lot of oil burn
in cyl no.4 which I will have contaminated the
exhaust. I have no insurance while waiting for an MOT
certificate and the proper ownership papers required,
hence the inability to thrash the b***s off it.

Also, how much play is acceptable in the CV joint? I
have a rumbling problem under breaking at high speed
60+mph. I have a bit of play when shaking the disks
left and right (although not from the disk itself I
assure you) Any suggestions??
