"Peugeot" on 405 trunk lip

This might be a really stoopid (Gov. Ventura pronunciation) thought to
think, but....
To the uninitiated, the 405 is identifiable only by the single appearance
of the word "Peugeot" on the lip of the trunk lid. For some reason, on
one of my 405s, that item looks very worn - the silverish letters look
like they've suffered eons of rubbing, so that the word isn't really
readily readable.
Since I've never seen such a worn-out looking "emblem" on any other 405,
I'd like to replace this worn one with one that might actually be
readable from more than three feet away. I presume it is glued onto the
vehicle. Is it removeable? Could I replace it with one that's in better
condition?
Or should I just wait at the next red light for some woman in a GMC
Durango Denali who has the morning paper spread out across the steering
wheel?
