Do NOT buy an early 4 cylinder with the Kugelfischer injection. The
injection system in a nightmare to maintain and parts are extremely
expensive whenever available, it costs $2400 for an injection pump
rebuild. The later 6-cylinder models are not as attractive, but easier
to live with and they share an engine with the 604 which means you can
buy an entire 604 for a song and have a spare engine (and brakes, power
steering, a/c, front end, drive shafts etc). I went for love and bought
the 4 cylinder but if you like the one in Koll's post (single headlight
and taillight, headrests, wide track), the six cylinder would be the way
    to go.

    Peuggie people:

I am a Citroen DS21 owner near Washington DC and a newbie to your
list. When picking up my car at my mechanic's place a few weeks ago,
I saw my first 504 PF Coupe. It was love at first site....gotta have
    one, or a cabriolet.

I assume there are only a handful in the US so I must find one
overseas. May I pick your brains??

The only site I found with several cars on it was
    http://www.504cc.com/PA.php
Are there others? Any there some reputable dealers in older cars
    that I could contact?

Can anyone suggest an honest middleman to secure a car and arrange
    shipping?

I've read a lot of info about the PininFarina cars and know they are
subject to a lot of rust problems. My mechanic says both engines are
quite manageable from his standpoint. Any other obvious things I
should know? I've bought a bunch of cars over the years, so I'm not
totally naive.....well, wait a minute, anyone want to buy a Reliant
    Robin I have out back?

I try to buy older restorations or very well maintained cars. I
    don't restore cars.

    Many thanks
