I have removed this plastic eyesore without scratching the paint . Use
your garden hose to wet the area thoughly. The water will lubricate the
removal process . The just proceed slowly. No glue was used and the
original force fit has been loosened by years of plastic degradation.
Underneath you will find a well painted gutter.
