    Some examples (I'm starting with reworked stock parts which could
    be machined locally):
    -Balanced stock crankshaft ~$475
    -4 balanced and matched stock conrods ~$300
    -custom timing camshaft ~$275

    some updated parts:
    -10 half bearings for crankshaft ~$175
    -8 half bearings for conrods (TRIMETAL) ~$140
    -32CDV13 steel intake valve ~$40
    -32CDV13 sodium filled exhaust valve ~$70
    -Meillor gasket set w/reinforced head gasket ~$100

    What used to be the Peugeot Talbot Sport kit (which jim lill has):
    -Danielson camshaft ~$400
    -updated FPR ~$100
    -wastegate ~$175

    I dont have the price for the Cosworth forged pistons.

    Engine w/core exchange is about $3700 w/reworked head, cosworth pistons and
    Peugeot Talbot Sport camshaft, which is a pretty good deal, IMHO.
