    My 1984 STI is 24.5 in (+/- 0.25in) (Also known as 625mm - metrically).

    It may be best to get a half dozen measurements and use their average.

      It's springs, not shocks that hold a car up. It might be that you having
      sagging springs, or worst, collapsing control arms (I doubt that).

      Perhaps someone on list could take a measurement on their "OK" sedan from
      the level ground to the top of the rear wheel well lip. That should be an
      easy relative measurement to compare by.
