That is a hard one to find. The simpler fixes have been loose connections in
the ignition system around the distributor or coil. The harder ones to find
have been the module, (if it was a Chrysler I would say replace the coil),
the pick up , ignition switch, frayed wire inside the pick up
arness( slightly bend the cable through its whole length while car is
running, if it quits or misses at one spot you have found your break), it
could also be fuel related but the the engine usually sputteres before it
dies.Of course the easiest way to diagnose the problem is when the car is
completely dead but it could keep on going like this for six months before
that happens.
