Anybody knows the difference between a Bosch SR81X and a Bosch SR481X (both
are reman.)? Which one correspond to the 0 001 311 110?

    The 481X is $189, the 81X is $119 (both have a $50 core charge). I paid $20
to have the solenoid replaced last time (solenoid included!), but it didn't
last that long. Plus I think they forgot a seal, that's what made for a
short lifespan. The replacement solenoid also was a ZM (a 722 12V) made in
Brazil, not a Bosch. I guess I should have known better... The starter
itself is not that old (and bought it for $90, reman with my Paris-Rhone as
core), but a lot of mileage from short trips, hence lots of cranking.

If I had a source for the Bosch solenoid itself (I dont have the ref#)...

I also just realised that you can easily swap the solenoid with the starter
