I was disappointed to find that vandals broke the passenger side window and windshield on my parts 505 over the weekend. I have 5 other cars stored in the same area and fear for their safety. I am being forced to build a fence to keep the little bast#rds out.

Last night at dusk I saw two young guys stop, get out of their car and walk over to where my cars are stored. They were fascinated with my white 404 wagon. Said it looked like the "Ghost Buster" car. One of them said he saw the lion emblem from the road. The other said he had never seen a car like it in his life. They were still in High school.

I sold my gold 504 D wagon to my uncle who lives in Coquitlam. (Near Vancouver, Canada) He got me started in Peugeots. He had several 403's over the years including a 403 panel van (sedan delivery) which he was driving when hit at an intersection and wiped out. He survived.
I think he is now legally blind but he has wanted my 504 D wagon for years. He brought a driver with him and took the car over the "Hope Princeton" highway and had no problems whatsoever. He phoned me to tell me he had found a 504 wagon at a wreakers in Vancouver and was able to get two good support struts for the rear door and a whole lot of other good stuff. I really didn't have the time to work on this car anymore and I am thrilled that someone bought it and will take good care of it. My wife is very happy to see one less car in the yard.
Problems starting your STI? I bought an '86 last August from a guy who had it parked for 2 years. I drove it home from his place, (2 miles) and parked it in my yard where it hasn't moved since. I dropped a battery in it the other day and it stared on the first revolution! My MI 16 doesn't start that fast.
I cut awning vinyl and covered all the windows on 4 cars 1- 504, 1- 404 & 2 505's. I got the offcut vinyl scraps at the auction years ago for next to nothing. I used exterior double sided carpet tape to glue the vinyl over the windows, this will keep the interiors from degrading any further from the hot summer sun. I also left an extra inch (2.5 cm) at the bottom to keep water from running into the door cavity at the bottom of the window glass. What I really want is covered dry storage but what can you do?
