My xn6 wagon still refuses to start. Today I checked current going to
fuel pump while cranking -- and found that there is no current going to
    pump before, while....or after cranking.

a bad tacometric relay can cause this I am told. Can someone suggest a
way to bypass the relay by jumping the connectors that go into the
relay. I suppose I could direct wire the pump from the battery; but
this is cumbersome and I would rather opt for the inside the car
solution. if I can get the car started using the relay bypass method
then the problem narrows itself to being the relay. If not, then the
    hunt begins anew..

are there other mysteries involved in why the fuel pump receives no
current? maybe be severed wires somewhere?
