    All:

Unless I'm imagining it, the ride quality of my '87 505 STX doesn't
seem as good as it once was. At low speeds - up to about 45 - the
ride is noisy over bumps and quite hard. I know that the STX rides a
bit harder than other 505s but I wondering if the shocks and struts
are due for replacement. The car rides and handles fine on the open
road though. The shocks and struts are still firm. The car has about
    156,000 miles.

Also, does anyone have a copy that they could share of the TSB for
the problem of the variable power assist steering not working
    properly.

    Thanks,

    Hugo Steincamp
