I removed the valve cover/PCV valve from my ZDJL parts car. I want to
clean it and install it onto my 91 SW8. Some Q's:

-The PCV "dome" appears to be an integral part of the valve cover,
which seems to have an inner layer, blocking access to the valve. How
    is the valve itself accessed?

-I've heard that the "valve dome" can be cut off, cleaned an re-
welded. Is this a good method? seems expensive.

-the auto parts stores sell PCV valves for American 6s and 8s that
look quite like the one on the car, for under ten bucks. Can i just
cut off the one on the valve cover and stick in one of these?

    Thanks,
    Aaron
