Why would you want to drop the heat index of the plugs on a stock
engine? Or, are you asking whether or not you should change them now--
before you start changing everything else...
I'd wait and install them once you change the boost and injectors.
I'd keep the old plugs (unless they are AFU) until then.
Your idle situation is puzzling... I don't understand why you can't
adjust it down. If you have tried all these new parts, it seems all
you need to do is turn the adjustment screws on the throttle body.

This happens because your idle speed is too high. This is not a
malfunction--it is a normal behavior of the ignition ECU. Once the
engine speed exceeds a certain value (with the microswitch closed),
the ECU automatically advances the timing several degrees--as though
the microswitch were open.
