No. I can tell you I've replaced the middle resonator with a straight pipe, and it still seems pretty quiet. In fact, it's quieter than before. Then again, before there was a hole in the middle resonator :)

Subject: 91 505 sw8 custom Exhaust
The Exhaust on my 91 SW8 wagon, ZDJL has a few holes in it. Instead
of just replacing it stock, would it make sense to get some std
flexable exhaust pipe at $1/ft and some mufflers from Summit and make
my own? What would be needed (i'm talking cat-back, so i'd band clamp
whatever i do to the cat's output pipe)?
How much muffling would the noisy ZDJL need? Do the middle two
resonators do anything besides restrict flow? has anyone done a bolt
in custom install on this car before?
Thanks,
Aaron
