What engine does your car have? You don't really have many options if
you have a diesel. You could take the springs and shocks from an '84-
'85 505 STI diesel/turbodiesel and gain a slightly stiffer ride.
If you have a gasoline engine, you can install the suspension parts
from a 505 Turbo--which is a *supreme* performance configuration, it
rides a bit hard but is stilled damped enough to remain comfortable.
You can also get some aftermarket springs for the gasoline cars,
which some people on this forum have done. I don't know anything
about them except they drop the car about 30mm, and add more negative
camber to a frontend that already has more than enough--plan on some
major tire wear.
In both cases, only use genuine Peugeot shocks/struts on the 505--
there are *no* aftermarket units that begin to compare. Also the only
official adjustment on the suspension is front toe. The factory
recommended toe settings result in almost perfectly balanced steering
response/stability. You can dial up a bit more steering response by
adding some toe-out, or get more straight-line stability by adding
some toe-in.
