Looking for a water pump for a 1987 N9TE (505 WAGON), Kit would be
fine or new pump. Also looking for tie rods, peugeot type. the moogs
fit but are light duty and don't last. How much clearance should the
front tire have with the strut tower, I have less than 1/4". Has
been that way for 5years,40,000 miles but wondered whether it would
cause problem when tire failed. In a pinch I replaced the double
vented rotors with the single unvented jobs (had to swap calipers
too) to keep car running since some idiot had turned them way below
specs and they were disintergrating. The car does not carry loads or
is not driven hard, turbo has been removed, for longevity sake and
multiple sessions with head warping, cracking and leaking. The body
was immaculate, and I was only pursuing a reliable "buggy" and my
mods have been successful in that respect. Car is not turbo, a/c has
be stripped off, and the car has been reliable. That Wagon is one
Hell of a good car, handles great, it was way ahead of its time even
    with the solid axle. STEVE
