    Don't worry. It may never reach battery voltage--what matters is the
    closed throttle setting.

    >From this point, the ignition ECU is aware of the actual throttle
    opening and thus calculate the engine load factor. Once the load
    factor exceeds a certain threshold (this point determined by RPM,
    basic injection duration, etc.), it will engage "wide open throttle
    mode". In this mode, the ignition ECU does its WOT thing while the
    injection ECU's "full throttle" pin (which I think pin #3) is cued to
    go crazy with the injectors.
