    Ignore the wiring diagrams. The speaker wires are often arranged in pairs,
    with a solid color for the positive lead and the same color as a stripe for
    the negative lead.

    Anyway, just take a 9V battery and holder, strip the speaker leads, and
    start touching the 9V battery leads to the wires. When you get a sound from
    a speaker, you will have found the correct leads; label them and move on.
