Once the engine has been operated for a while--long enough for the
fans to cycle, try pinching off the aux air hose as much as possible
(the hose that connects to the throttle elbow). There should be zero
change in engine speed.
If the engine speed DOES drop, make sure you have 12V between the 2
pins on the connector. If you do have juice, replace the aux air
device. If there is no juice, start tracing the wiring back--the aux
air device wiring is part of the injector subharness--it connects to
the main harness via a white 8 terminal connector near the master
cylinder.
The aux air device is fed by the same circuit for the O2 sensor
heater, both are fed by a terminal on the tachymetric relay.
