Where is it leaking? What brand pump?

Our 505 disel wagon with lucas pump was leaking out around the accelerator
shaft. Although Haynes says take to a specialist, after hearing from a
friend that his pump in a jap 4wd only needed o-rings replaced, I had a go
    myself.
from memory, procedure was to disconnect accelerator and stop cables by
taking nuts of top of shafts,
remove top plate by undoing 4-6 cap screws.
lift plate up carefully and press out shafts leaving these attached to pump.
remove old o-rings from shafts and replace.
my shafts were well worn, so i used thicker o-rings.
grease o-rings with ribber grease and put back together.

    seemed to work okay.
