Hello from Paris,
I am interested in Peugeot taxis in the US for a long time, and it's very hard for me to find information on the subject !
Peugeot US taxi story has begun with the 404 in the sixties if I'm not wrong, I have a phot of a black 404 in the front of a New York City church, here's a link to photos of 504 and 505 NYC cabs, I remember back in the 80's Peugeot was proud to have provided about 500 Diesel 505 as Taxi cabs in NYC.

I have also read an article in the Peugeot News US magazine about a trial to sell 504 diesel wagons to California Taxi fleets.
If anyone has information and photos about Peugeot Taxis in the USA, I would be very glad to receive them !!!
PS : I am collecting Peugeot 504 toys and models , I am working on a transformation kit of the 1:43rd Minichamps 504 model (realized by ESDO french model maker) , if anyone is interested, feel free to contact me. Any comment is also welcome !
