intermittent warning lights 505 S

Hi all;
After quite a bit of repair, I have all the kinks (well, you know, the
important ones) worked out of a 1984 505 S XN-6 except I cannot find the
reason for the temp., oil pressure, and STOP warning lights coming on less
than half the time before start-up. I've cleaned the connector and copper
bands on the instrument cluster and tried to make absolutely sure of the
conductivity of this connection. Is it possible it is a key-switch
problem? I'm suspicious because the ACC position does not bring power to
anything.....
Is there anywhere else to look? Perhaps a relay? Charge and brake
warning lights always work...... Thanks, Tom Woods
