The Bosch Fuel Injection & Engine Management book by Charles Probst has
under the troubleshooting section for pulsed injection:
syptom
5, Engine misses, hesitates or stalls under load.
Probably causes:
a. Throttle switch faulty or misadjusted
b. fuel injectors faulty or clogged
c. vacuum (intake air)leak
d. air flow meter faulty
e. insufficient fuel pressure or fuel delivery
Corrective action
a. test throttle switch
b. test fuel injectors
c. checl for leaks
d. test air flow meter
e. test fuel pressure and delivery.
as a first step I would try the usual trick of unpluging a few of the
connectors in the system, cleaning and lubing etc and plugging back in (and
out and in and out and in a few times to make sure there is good electrical
contact)
For the ZDJL do the air flow meter, throttle switch and that little black
bitron video box for starters...

Kevin
