    Hi Richard,
grab a length of nylon braided rope long enough to go all the way around the
window with about a metre extra, get from mitre10 or bunnings etc, from
    memory about 4mm diameter.
put the rubber on the window
put the string around the rubber in the slot where the steel of the car will
go when it is fitted, go all the way around and overlap by about 150mm. From
memory I found it best to have the join in the middle at the bottom (or if i
am wrong, it was in the middle at the top, just have to try)
Put the window in the hole, place about right, but with all the rubber on
the outside and the strings going inside.
Preferably get a helper to push gently on the outside of the window to keep
it in place while you pull the string out. As the string is pulled, it flips
the rubber to the inside of the window frame. By the time you have gone all
the way around, you should have the window in.

Just make sure that the string does not cut off the inside of the rubber
(can do if the pressure is too tight or the string too thin) and when you do
the last bit stop the string from pulling through rather than fliping the
    rubber in.

Perhaps you should go around to Daves and have a practice first?
    All the best,
    Kevin
