The first thing to do, IMO, to improve service is to relocate the
coolant bottle to the space next to the airfilter against the
fender...the rad will have a one foot hose to the overflow which makes
bleeding cake and not to mention all kinds of access to the left hand
    side on the engine block.

BTW we were shopping for a replacement for our 92 ZDJL SW8 and drove
many a new car, all 4 cyl, the (gulp) Camry drove and impressed me the
most, it wasn't the prettiest on the outside (to me) but under the hood
and inside sure was well thought out. The Accord was so cramped under
the hood it scared me and was brutally hard over speed bumps.
Another impressive car (again double gulp) I can't believe it, was the
Sentra...... Nissan has come a long way. I am 6'3 and could reach the
back of the glove box only after my arm was up to the elbow. wow a lot
of things were like that.....My wife tried starting the car several
times because the engine is so smooth and quiet we could not hear it
running (what? this is not a Lexus)
    Cheers,
    George Nunez

couldn't even find the ignition wires, let alone the distributor on
the ZDJL. Lovely engine to drive, absolute horror to work on!

Having driven 505s exclusively since 1983, and realizing that all good
things must eventually come to an end,
