I, too drive a 1982 TD 5-speed, and was under the impression the
orange turn signal lenses came on post-1982 604s. My 604 has white
lenses that are shaped a little different from the orange ones. I
tried swapping them, they are not the same.
Anyway, congrats on this great find, and be sure to check all bolts
and nuts on the engine periodically. Engine vibrations can get them
loose - I nearly lost my alternator recently because the long bolt
came out 3/4 of the way.
