84 505sti (gas) mileage

As the gas prices are going crazy out here in Northern California -
$1.72/gal is average, I'm closely watching the mileage in my 505. It seems
to be getting about 15 mpg city, and at best 18 mpg highway. Whats typical
for this car?
I've been considering giving the fuel injection system a tune-up. Should I
be getting better mileage out of this car (84, 505sti -gas)?
