Heres another quote from Peugeot's service bulletin about stalling:

We have experienced a few cases indicating that the engine may stall
intermittently at idle when the gearshift is moved from park to reverse,
or neutral to drive, or neutral to reverse.

Parts required: 1 Diode type "Cartier" relay, P/N 6555.48
Field Fix:

Locate the park/neutral relay in the relay box on the right hand side of
the engine compartment. Relay with wires 32A, 32B, 42, 45B.

Disconnect socket.

Reverse the socket wiring between pins 1 and 2.

To release the double lock termnal from the socket:

Push wire and terminal all the way up into the socket.

Insert a small flat blade screwdriver, in center of terminal and pull
wire down. Hold in this position, pull screwdriver out.

Inseet screwdriver between rolled over side of terminal and side of
socket; pull down on wire to release from socket.

Insert wires 32A and 32B instead of 45b into Pin 1.

Insert wire 45B instead of 32A and 32B into Pin 2.

Install new park/neutral diode type relay, P/N 6555.48.

Hope this helps,

Ned...
