My father owns a 1964 Peugeot 404 station wagon and wants to
get rid of it. It had a problem with the distributor or
something else minor, and he didn't get around to fixing it,
and now it has been sitting long enough (a couple of years)
that it will take a little more work than he has time for to
get it running again.
However, the engine only has 28,000 miles on it since it
was rebuilt, and most of the car is in pretty good condition,
so if anyone was interested in buying the whole thing, that
would be great. It is located in Eugene, Oregon, USA at the
moment. My father said he'll take "the best offer under $200".
Meanwhile, I still drive another 1964 Peugeot 404, except
that mine is a sedan. If there is sufficient interest in just
the parts off of the other Peugeot, I wouldn't mind sneaking a
few parts off of it myself.
Does anyone have any suggestions on who might be interested
in an old Peugeot, either to get it up&running or to use it
for parts? I would welcome any suggestions.
