505 TD rocker arms

I was talking to a mechanic friend several months ago about his and my 505TD.
I remember him saying one of the nice things about the rocker arms was that
when they wear on you, you take them out and reverse them so the unworn side
is now carrying the strain. I didn't pay alot of attention because mine are
fine, but I presume he meant the split bearing halves, no?? Anyway if that
makes sense to anyone, then hopefully that will solve the problem posted by
swepston@nortel.ca.
If more info needed, give me time and I'll look him up for more details.
