I stand corrected. I apologize. There is a Maywood Peugeot in NJ. I have to give them a call. And I will speak to John.

Since the list has started up again I have wanted to purchase a 505 that needs a little work. Preferably 505s or sti 1983-84 in the New Jersey, USA area. Anyone have anything?
Justin

Subject: The ever loyal Pug 504.

Hey folks, just thought I'd drop a cheerful g'day from Australia.

I'm an Electromechanical engineer here in Melbourne, having just finished
study at University. <--- read as 'I'm no longer a student, have money,
and the Peugeot is finally getting the attention it deserves.

Said Peugeot is a 77 504 GL. She has been kitted out with the interior of
an 81 504, and an air conditioner from same. This christmas, she is having
an injected engine <as opposed to the twin-carb model XNA in there
currently> and a 5 spd box fitted during my xmas week off. Should make
life interesting ... :)

This car has been a great friend throughout my study the last 4 years, and
has never NEVER let me down. She's been thrashed up mountains for ski
trips, rallied around the city in typical juvenile style, and generally
driven hard. All the mechanical done to the car has been performed by
myself. Good fun. You really get to appreciate some of the design that
went into the running gear and engine when you pull them apart yourself.

Anyway. At present the car has Michelin MXF 185/75's fitted to the
standard pressed steel rims, and no suspension mods. This car sticks like
glue. I guess they have a name for this handling tho. With the injected
engine in, and the 5 spd box, she's going to fly along !

Let me know of any ideas or past experiences you may have had with fitting
these engines and gearboxes if you feel the inclination. I'd appreciate
any advice !

Another happy Peugeot Devotee.

Scott. (Known to his friends as 'The Pugger' hahahaha)
