If you can't get the standard block heater, I believe Canadian Tire sells one
that will fit into one of the rad hoses. Probably not as good as one on the
block, but I used one on a Volvo many years ago, and it kept things warm
enough to get the engine started. Even circulated a little hot water through
the heater core, so that I didn't get that blast of cold air immediately.
