I've been a member of this forum for some time, and have been a Peugeot owner
since 1984, when I bought a brand new 505-S in Winnipeg, Canada. I now own
an 87 505-STI V6, and my son has an 88 505-STI Turbo. I really like getting
all of this Peugeot talk, and will contribute from time to time, but I have a
problem -- not with my car, but with the system.
Since the opening of the forum to the world, my E-mail in-box is being
flooded with Peugeot mail. I use this E-mail system for my home business,
and it is starting to interfere. When I log on to check for some important
business E-mail, I'm usually confronted with five to a dozen for-the-moment
irrelevant Peugeot messages I have to deal with first. When I go away for a
few days, my in-box is flooded.
Is there some other way we could deal with this forum so that it doesn't
automatically send messages to my E-mail system? I'm thinking of some of the
forums on Compuserve or America Online, for example. There, I can log on and
check for the latest posts whenever I have the time and the inclination, but
I don't have to deal with the E-mail flood before I can get down to business.
Much as I like being a member of the "club", I may have to unsubscribe if we
can't find a way to fix this.
