I have used a single burner propane and or naptha single burner camping
stoves . Work very right up against the lower pans of the 504 & 505 ,
cranked up high I was a little aprehensive the first couple times and
kept close watch , open flame on oil and stuff but never had a problem
yet half to 3/4 hour at 40 below
is often enough to get started . When your past the end of your longest
extension cord and it doesn't go a little French lightening has I admit
occured to me as an option.
