Re the suggestion that I switch E-mail service providers, I guess that might
work. I have another account on CompuServe that I hardly ever use. But I
just paid to upgrade my AOL service to unlimited access, and I think I'll
stick with them for now as my main service provider. Never did manage to get
the Microsoft Mail system working right - I kept responding to the System
Administrator's welcome message, but it was always still there when I went
back.
I don't see the problem of the world being able to look in as a serious
deficiency of a newsgroup or web page. After all, anyone can subscribe here
and look in. I don't think applicants are screened on the basis of any
particular criteria.
