XN6 Fuel Problem With K-Jetronic

Today started bright and early. Checked all the relays I could find.
Including the ones on the pass. side by the control unit and the ones
under and near the steering column. All to no avail. I pulled a couple of
injectors to see if they were working properly. The all spray for about a
millisecond and then don't spray again until I let go of the key and
attempt to start the engine again. Another problem I came in contact with.
I opened up the air cleaner housing where there is supposed to be oil up
to the line and found it filled well above the line with pure gasoline. I
cleaned it out and tried again. The fuel distributor seams to be leaking
into the air cleaner housing by the plunger. Is this a result of to much
pressure in the lines or is it a bad fuel distributor? Why would it be
leaking out of the distributor and not be getting to the injectors?. I had
to replace the fuel high pressure line today. All I could find was rubber
so I got the strongest stuff I could find and am hoping that it will not
burst from to much pressure. One other question that I asked before and no
one answered does anyone know which way the plunger goes. With the thin
side up or down? I am guessing that I should invest in a new fuel
distributor but I want to be sure. I appreciate any help with my
questions.
Thanks,

Justin
