Just like Peugeot, Renault had some quality control issues in the USA, but
now produce great cars. Renault's are cheap, fun, and reliable.
I hear good things about the Megane Coup in Car Magazine all the time.

But, I think that in North American minds, Renault has a far worse
reputation than Peugeot. When people think "Re-nalt" they think of Le
Cars, mainly with the hoods popped.
Little do they know that Mack Truck is actualy Renault.
Their cars look great, they drive great, there cheap. The could compete
better with the Asian makers than Peugeot on the low end.
I personaly feel that it would be a very complicated merger/joint venture.
Whose models would you sell? With Peugeots you can see the "Peugeot look"
from the 106 to the 806. How would that figure in with Renault?
