I know for certain it'll fit the V6, one was installed on a V6 later
today after doing my ZDJL.
The adaption was as follows:
- remove old sensor
- cut Ford connector off new sensor
- cut old sensor off Pug harness
- strip wires on all (six places)
- slide 3 2-1/2" pieces of shrink sleeving on wires, 1 on each
- splice wires using Blue butt splices (crimp type)
- shrink sleeving over splices
- seal ends of sleeving with RTV
- note that new harness is longer
- reinstall taking advantage of longer length to route source that
access to connection is easily made underhood for testing
