1989 505 Turbo Station Wagon being bought - advice please

Hi
I missed out on an older - 86 Turbo sedan.
But made an appointment next week to look at an 89 Turbo wagon.
It has 82,000 miles, original owner, no accidents, maintained.

Any advice on trouble areas with the 89??? Its an automatic (blech).
Also, how to prepare for winter driving (Blizzaks??)
