There really is nothing sad about it. It is fantastic that they have in
the past been ambassadors to mostly French cars. But this is 1997 almost
1998, many years after both major companies have pulled out. Pat Whale
still has customers come in for ground-up 504 restorations, but the trends
are towards other makes. The French Revolution is not just one person,
there are many people that work there, passionate people. I'm sure they
love their work as much as the love their cars. Sometimes our passions and
dreams need to be subsidized, and I feel that is what is happening.
Where would our cars be without our jobs?
Where would French Car owners go in Austin without Pat Whale?

Sounds like a great idea to me.
